Unified Communications - Ambient Intelligence

This area consists of a distributed platform for technological context that is sensitive and reactive to the environment, and the presence and requirements of human beings. Ambient intelligence supports people in accomplishing their daily life integrating their communications with the environment thus making tasks easier.

There are two principal parts which support this area:

• The sensor level consists of an embedded systems network for human and Industrial environments. There is a wide range of open source embedded systems and their use depends on their specific application. The most relevant ones for generic use are:
