State of the Art of Open Software in the Spanish Industry

Other studies had been carried out previously however, there did not exist one addressing a research on structural and economic characteristics of the TIC sector in Spain involved in open source development and services.

The report has been elaborated by CENATIC foundation (National reference centre for the application of open source technologies) through its open software observatory. Hereyou will find the report (in Spanish).

State of the Art of Open Software in the Spanish Universities and Research centres

The report includes a set of case studies analysing adoption experiences, support and research in the scope of open software in Spain and some references to Europe. It also includes quantitative information from a survey in the Spanish Universities providing information about open source adoption levels in the university system.

The report has been ellaborated by the Cenatic National Obsevatory, GsyC/LibreSoft group of Rey Juan Carlos University and the CRUE-TIC-SL Open Source Group from the TIC Committee of the Spanish Council of University Rectors. Here you will find the report (in Spanish)
