Project summary

• OSAmI Commons project aims to deliver an open source platform build on top of OSGi specification. Platform enables easy and efficient interoperability of different devices by utilizing service oriented architecture.
• Focus in Finnish consortium is on utilizing wireless communication for interoperability of mobile devices.

Research topics at national level

• OSGi runtime embedding on constrained devices
• Integration and utilization of heterogeneous sensors/actuators
