[edit] Social networks
Social networking is a new way of communication, and after desktop platforms expansion, Facebook, Twitter and other applications have arrived to the mobile world. In the table below, we can see a comparative between the different platforms and how they support these social networks.
| Windows Mobile | Blackberry | iPhone | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Supported | Supported | Supported | |
| Not officially supported. Supported by 3rd party application | Suported | Supported | |
| My Space | Supported | Supported | Supported |
| Linked In | Not officially supported. Supported by 3rd party application | Supported | Supported |
As we can see, there are an important difference between these kind of platforms, traditionally more used, and open source platforms where social networks applications are supported by third party companies [1].
